How to Order a Custom Press-On Nail Set
To ensure a smooth and transparent experience, please review the full custom ordering process below before placing your order.
All custom press-on orders require a sizing kit prior to moving forward.
Sizing kits allow you to properly determine your nail sizes for the best fit, comfort, and wear. Please note that sizing can vary depending on nail shape and style.
Ready-to-wear sizing kits are available for purchase and may be reused for future custom orders.

Once your sizing kit has been tried on and your sizes are confirmed, you may purchase a Custom Set Reservation.
• Custom sets are released in limited weekly spots
• Each reservation secures one custom set
• If you would like multiple sets, multiple reservations are required
• Reservation purchases act as a non-refundable deposit and will be applied toward the final total of your custom set(s)
After your reservation is placed, you will receive an email from info@scalesofamermaid.com usually within 24 hours of your purchase date.
This is the only email address that will contact you regarding your custom order.
During this consultation, we will discuss:
• Design details and inspiration
• Nail shape and length
• Tier selection
• Any reference photos or special requests
If you prefer communication via social media DMs, please indicate this in the order notes at checkout and include your social media handle. We will reach out from @scalesofamermaid.
Custom press-on nail sets are priced using a tier-based system, determined by the level of detail, design complexity, and embellishments requested.
Each tier includes a clear description and price breakdown to help you choose the option that best fits your vision.
Once all details are finalized, your remaining balance will be invoiced and sent to the email address used to place your order.
Please note:
• Custom sets will not be started until the invoice is fully paid
• If the client is non-responsive after 7 days (from final invoice date), the reservation will be canceled
• Reservation fees are non-refundable if the client does not respond or pay within this 7-day timeframe
We will give the customer a nudge/reminder through email or DMs after 4 days of no response.
Custom press-on nail sets typically take 5–10 business days to fulfill, depending on the tier selected.
Turnaround time begins after final payment is received.
